ADT 24/7 monitoring in Seattle
When a sensor trips, ADT can call you and request help. That is the reason to order professional monitoring instead of a camera you check yourself from the car.
What happens when an alarm goes off
ADT watches the system 24 hours a day from U.S. monitoring centers. If a door opens while you are armed, or a smoke detector goes off, a person can call you and, when it is appropriate, request police or fire.
A camera on a Ballard porch is useful for packages. It is not the same thing. You cannot always pick up. ADT can — at 2 a.m., during a flight delay, or in I-5 traffic.
The system can still reach ADT if Seattle City Light, Puget Sound Energy, or the Wi-Fi is out. Seattle City Light covers most Seattle addresses. Puget Sound Energy covers much of the Eastside. Snohomish County PUD covers close-in Snohomish. That is why we mention backup on the quote.
Same-day or next-day install is often available from the WA-Seattle office. Alarm paperwork changes with the ZIP: Seattle has no subscriber permit; Bellevue registers at $25; other cities have their own offices. We will name yours on the quote.
